Charter Yacht – Base Requirements & Regulations

  • Both Commercially Registered and Private Yachts are authorized to charter
  • Pick-up and drop-off of charter guests are permitted
  • Charters originating from Martinique are VAT-free for yachts over 24 meters
  • A fully professional crew must be onboard for the duration of the charter
  • The charter contract must be executed outside Martinique
  • A copy of the signed charter contract must be carried onboard at all times during the charter period

 

Shipping & parcel logistics without tax / Same day delivery

Douglas Yacht Services manages all parcel shipments to and from your yacht, ensuring fast, secure, and compliant delivery anywhere in Martinique. Whether you need urgent spare parts, technical equipment, personal items, or provisioning supplies, DYS coordinates every step of the process.

We work directly with customs under our VAT-Free procedure, allowing eligible yachts to receive shipments without duties or VAT—an important advantage for maintenance and operational logistics.

To ensure smooth processing, shipments must be addressed as follows:

Providing tracking numbers and a commercial invoice allows our team to monitor your delivery and ensure timely handover to the yacht.
